The concept has spent five years in the design process by two designers of the Netherlands "Emile Pop" and "Justin de Boer",and at the start of 2008 work began on the first fully operational prototype, this car blurs the line between a GT and a supercar, is constructed from high-tech and lightweight materials, is powered by a front mounted GM sourced LS7 supercharged V8 which develops 601 bhp at 6,200 rpm, and 750 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm.
This is mated to an automatic transmission mounted toward the rear of the car driving the rear wheels.The braking is taken care of with 8 piston calipers and 380 mm discs up front, and 4 piston calipers gripping 355 mm discs at the rear.The first Savage Rivale Roadyacht GTS which is currently well into its build process is scheduled for completion in 2009.
